Andrew H. ButlerAndrew has over 15 years of experience advising individuals, couples, families and institutions in all aspects of estate planning, estate administration, trust administration, asset protection, probate litigation, and federal and state taxation. Drawing on his financial and tax background, Andrew particularly enjoys working with clients and their other advisors to develop, implement, and monitor plans which address estate, financial, tax, and retirement planning objectives and goals. Andrew is a widely regarded expert in the fields of estate law and tax planning, having been invited to lecture on a variety of topics and co-authoring "Drafting Wills and Trusts in Massachusetts" for the National Business Institute. He is admitted to practice in Massachusetts and New York.

Andrew's practice at Archstone Law Group continues the practice he developed at Butler & Kriegel LLP, a Wellesley law firm he founded and ran for 6 years. Previously, Andrew practiced in the Boston offices of Goodwin Procter LLP and Peabody & Arnold LLP. He also worked at the Boston Safe Deposit & Trust Company and the Tax Division of the United States Justice Department in Washington, D.C. Andrew is a cum laude graduate of the Wharton School of the University of Pennsylvania where he majored in Finance. After working on Wall Street, Andrew attended the Georgetown University Law Center where he received both his J.D., cum laude, and his L.L.M. in Taxation, with distinction. Andrew serves as the President of the Board of Trustees of the South Area Solomon Schechter Day School in Norwood, Massachusetts. He lives in Sharon with his wife and three children.
