Arlene brings more than 20 years of legal experience to her clients. She has a general business and transactional practice. Arlene works with closely-held companies in the high technology, petroleum distribution, and media industries on a variety of issues such as entity formation and dissolution, contract drafting and negotiation, bank financing issues, employment matters, shareholder agreements, antitrust issues, and commercial real estate purchases, sales and leases. Her clients value her integrity and look to Arlene for advice on their general business matters.
Arlene continues the practice she developed as a principal in Van Wert, Zimmer & Conlin, P.C. Prior to that, she worked with the Newton firm of Mofenson & Nicoletti and the Boston firms of Choate, Hall & Stewart and Goldstein & Manello. Arlene is a graduate of Boston University School of Law, cum laude and Smith College. Arlene also served for several years as a Staff Attorney for the U.S. Court of Appeals for the First Circuit. Arlene is an accomplished equestrian.
